MySales Demo Version Installation Guide

  1. Install https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/ Save the password for the root user.

  2. Install https://www.mysql.com/products/workbench/ or another client for working with the MySQL server.
    Configure a connection to the server using the root credentials.

  1. Install https://nodejs.org/ version.

  2. Download and restore it to the demo schema as the root user

  3. Create a user named mystorage with password mystorage, and grant this user privileges on the demo schema:

  1. Download the MySales distribution package и demo system configuration files, create a folder named mysales in the home directory and extract both archives into this folder.

  2. Log in to the terminal, then go to the mysales folder ("cd mysales"), and run the following commands: "npm i" and "npm i mysql."

  3. Run the application from the terminal with the command "node app options_demo." Check the terminal log; it should look something like this:

Open your browser and go to http://localhost:3000. This address should open the mysales web interface.
